Cely Construction Company, Inc. of Greenville, SC was honored with the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas Excellence in Construction Eagle Award for their work on Gravitopia and a Merit Award for the M.T. Anderson Support Services Building.

Business Development Manager Darath Mackie, Superintendent Clint Wittner, Project Manager Kyle Murphy, and Assistant Project Manager Justin Martin, of Cely Construction Company accepted the prestigious awards on November 20th, 2014 at the ABC Carolinas 13th annual Excellence in Construction Award Banquet in Charlotte, NC.

“The Excellence in Construction Awards is an opportunity for the construction industry in the Carolinas to celebrate their efforts and achievements together. It is truly an honor to be recognized for excellence in our field and be acknowledged for the quality of our craft,” says Darath Mackie of Cely Construction Company.

Gravitopia is South Carolina’s first extreme Aerial Park. It has more than 12,000 SF of trampoline space and also offers viewing mezzanines and lounging areas on the second floor. Gravitopia has a grand assortment of entertainment and sports activities including aerial ninja obstacle courses, trampoline dodge ball, Olympic foam pits, trampoline aerobics, and so much more.

The M.T. Anderson Support Services Building project consisted of approximately 20,000 SF of exterior renovations and structural improvements. Cely Construction shares the Greenville School District’s philosophy that their staff’s well-being and work environment should be healthy as well as free from distraction, and that employees perform at heightened levels when they are in a safe, orderly, and inviting environment. “Cely Construction enthusiastically took on the challenging task of securing the safety and health of each individual that inhabited this facility during construction very serious,” stated Sam Cely, President of Cely Construction Company.
